## Ditto Plans for Holiday Hiring
So, Target’s back at it again, planning to snag about 100,000 seasonal workers for in-store and supply chain gigs. The starting pay ranges from $15 to $24 an hour. They announced it on Monday. In case you’re curious, they’ve been sticking to the same holiday hiring goals for years now, keeping it consistent.
## Extra Hours for Current Employees
To tackle the holiday rush, Target’s giving its current staff a chance to pick up extra hours. They got this On-Demand program where employees, think around 45,000 of their 400,000 workers, can grab those extra hours. Priority goes to the existing team before they bring fresh faces into the mix.
## Circle Week’s Return and Holiday Items Galore
Heads up! Target Circle Week is back from Oct. 6 through Oct. 12. Expect a holiday assortment that’s 50% bigger than last year. Get this, we’re talking thousands of items priced at $5 and $10.
## Hiring Details and Application Process
Once the current team’s needs are sorted, store leaders at nearly 2,000 locations and over 50 supply chain facilities will make hiring decisions. Folks interested in these seasonal jobs can apply online starting Sept. 25. Plus, Target’s already hiring supply chain roles through their regular career portal. ## Retail Rush and Promos Galore
Retail’s holiday hiring wave ain’t just Target. Think Spirit Halloween, Joann, Bath & Body Works, and Burlington – they’re also staffing up.
